Add all of the ingredients to a blender and mix on high speed until smooth. Serve immediately. If it needs more sweetness for your taste, blend a date in or sweeten with your favourite liquid sweetener.
1 large ripe banana, 1 large apple, 100 grams non-dairy yogurt, 50 ml non-dairy milk, 2 tablespoons nut butter
Optionally add 1-2 tablespoons of oats to thicken the smoothie, or ¼ teaspoon cinnamon or a splash of vanilla to boost the flavour.
Notes
You must use a good, flavourful apple for this recipe or it will taste bland. Choose a good eating apple.
