Pantry Recipes

These are plant-based pantry recipes specifically gathered specifically with a lack of fresh ingredients in mind. They include canned, dried, and frozen ingredients for the most part, with some long-lasting fresh such as potatoes, carrots, and other root vegetables.

For empty-fridge mains, soups and stews are a great idea. Try Spicy Tomato Soup with Coconut Milk, Moroccan Spiced Carrot Chickpea Stew, or a Chickpea Pumpkin Curry.

Make your own staples! Try Homemade Oat Milk, Grain Free Granola (made with seeds, not nuts), or Simple Spelt Bread.

For some pantry-friendly treats, make a batch of Almond Rye Chocolate Chip Cookies, Coconut Milk Rice Pudding, or Sunflower Seed Energy Bites.

Featured here are also some of the recipes I turned to most when my bank account was as empty as my refrigerator - they're typically very budget friendly, especially the main dishes.
