Gluten Free

Gluten-free recipes using mostly single flours and no store bought gluten-free flour blends. Think buckwheat, oat, and almond flour. All of these recipes are also dairy-free. If using oats or oat flour, note that it is naturally gluten-free but often processed in facilities that process gluten, so you’ll have to get certified gluten-free options if baking for someone with an allergy.

For a gluten-free breakfast, try sweet potato waffles, a traditionally buckwheat flour German baked apple pancake, and protein-rich red lentil pancakes.

If you’re looking for some snacks, make gluten-free pumpkin muffins, peanut butter banana oatmeal cookies, and cranberry chocolate chip granola bars.

Gluten-free desserts can be made with any number of flour types – try my double chocolate chickpea flour cookies or vegan peanut butter oatmeal cookies, vegan gluten free banana bread (with oat and buckwheat), and gluten-free chocolate cupcakes (with coconut flour).

Gluten-free cooking and baking can be just as delicious as regular, and these recipes have been developed specifically with these unique flour types so you don’t need to resort to any guesswork.
