Considering the times that we’re currently in, where many of us are very limited in terms of the fresh produce we can access, I’ll be sharing collections and new recipes over the next days, weeks, and months for pantry led recipes and pantry meals. This includes dinners made with dried and canned beans, lentils, and other legumes, grains, canned fruits and vegetables, frozen veg, and other basics like spices.
We haven’t been able to find eggs for about two weeks here in our little Dutch town and haven’t left the town since Graham’s university was cancelled last week as we rely completely on public transit. The Dutch government shut down the country briefly, backtracked, and might be shutting down again today – it’s a scary place to be right now.
So while we stay at home and keep other people and ourselves safe, we still need to eat. In addition to these pantry dinner recipes, I’ll also be sharing a few more collections over the next days with some baking and snack ideas, and new recipes to come. There’s a new pantry recipes section on OE as well if you need more ideas.
If you have requests for pantry meals using what you might have in the house, drop me a line and I’ll do my best to help.
