Vegetarian Winter Breakfast Recipes
Start your day off right with these plant-based winter breakfast recipes! Here’s a mix of the best sweet and savoury, dairy-free breakfasts perfect for cold mornings. I’ve gathered a mix of make-ahead, speedy on the go, and slow morning ideas, with a variety of in-season fruits and vegetables or using frozen produce.
I’m going to be completely honest here and tell you that I eat the same porridge for breakfast 99% of the time in the winter. It’s so easy to get into a routine in the mornings and know what I’m going to eat every day so that I can start working right away and not think too much about what to have for breakfast. But even if you do that, too, maybe something on this list can become your new standard – or you might feel inspired to change up your routine.
So if you’re seeking some morning inspiration for breakfasts that’ll make you feel good all day, I’ve got you covered. Need some more ideas? Check out my breakfast archives.
I first published this collection in 2019. It’s been updated to reflect new recipes that have been added to Occasionally Eggs and to make it easier to navigate and more helpful to readers.
